Our Inspiration
The Rajmane Foundation was established to honor the life and legacy of Gaurishankar Rajmane, a man whose deep passion for mathematics and unwavering belief in education transformed his community. Rising from a humble background he broke generational barriers through sheer hard work, earning his BSc from the prestigious Fergusson College in Pune and his MSc from Sangameshwar College in Solapur.
A Life of Service
As a beloved mathematics teacher at the reputed Kadadi High School, Gaurishankar did not just teach equations; he invested in the holistic growth of every student. Alongside his wife, Kusum Rajmane, who served with equal dedication as a Marathi teacher, they forged a powerful partnership built on the transformative power of knowledge. His commitment to education extended far beyond his classroom walls. He opened his home to his extended family, bringing his cousins from their village to the city to ensure they received a proper education.
The Foundation's Purpose
Gaurishankar's foundational acts of generosity paved the way for generations of his family—including his grandchildren—to achieve global academic and professional success. Today, his name remains synonymous with goodwill in the greater neighborhood, remembered fondly by decades of former students. The Rajmane Foundation exists to institutionalize his lifelong mission: ensuring that one's background is never a barrier to brilliance, and that every individual has the educational support needed to rewrite their future.
Hillsborough County Education Grant in USA
Provided critical educational funding to underprivileged students. This initiative ensured that local youth had the necessary academic resources to pursue their studies without financial barriers.
Technology Access for Girls in India
Donated personal computer to bridge the digital divide for young female student. This targeted intervention empowered them to access digital classrooms and develop essential 21st-century technological skills.
Sindhutai Sapkal Donation in India
Directed financial aid to the renowned Sindhutai Sapkal organization in Maharashtra to exclusively fund the education of orphaned girls. This directly reflects the foundation's core belief that every child deserves a path to academic self-reliance.
Food Distribution in USA
Organized a grassroots food and resource distribution drive for the unhoused community on Chrismas morning. This effort delivered immediate, critical sustenance to vulnerable populations in crisis.

Shradha Rajmane
Inspired by her grandfather Gaurishankar’s unwavering belief in education, Shradha Rajmane founded the Rajmane Foundation to institutionalize his legacy of breaking generational barriers.
While Gaurishankar transformed lives in the local classroom, Shradha works at the macro-level of global infrastructure. Bringing 15 years of experience shaping critical NYC utility efficiency programs and architecting AI frameworks at Google, she holds an MBA and a BE in Computer Science.
She leverages her deep expertise in systemic scaling and governance to advance the Foundation's mission—rooted in the belief that just as resilient technology empowers global economies, robust educational support empowers communities to rewrite their own futures.
